| Biography: If I were to write my name, date of birth, where I went to school, my occupation, so forth and so on, would you say you would be leaving this page knowing something about me? Would you be able to distinguish me from another, a week later? I think not. So, I have taken the liberty of using my bio. section to let you know who I am instead of what I am. I love my eyes, so purposeful as I’m able to see to type this I love my nose. I love my lips. I love my eyebrows; as thin as they are at least I still have some while there are others who do not have them at all. I love the hair on my head; It has so many things going on for it. It’s nappy at the roots, curly in some point and stringy straight. I’ve had many bad hair days, yet I still love it cause in some crazy way it’s a reminder that I’m still healthy and should count my blessings for, there are others who are bald. I love my neck. I love my chest. I love my arms. I love my stomach. I love my back. I love my mid-section. I love my thighs, I love my legs, I love my feet. I love my entire body. I love my physical beauty overall, while mindful that it will eventually fades away. I love my family, they are not perfect but they are mine and I’m grateful for having them I love my nieces and I love my nephews and wish them all happiness and guidance to pick the right paths in whatever they decision the make in life. I love my friends for I have found an extended family in them to share joy, sadness, memories, stories and vent to. I love to observe for it warns and tells me so much about my surroundings. I love my morals; it won’t be compromised. I love my values; it is priceless. I love my self-respect, for it commands respect from others. I love my intuition, for it prepares me for pettiness, vile language, negativity, hatred and attacks from others. I love that I love and love so much for it would take destroying a lot of loving things tangible and intangible in me to stop me from loving. If you have made it this far, I thank you for your attentiveness. Reading this can either put a smile in your face if you are someone who also love and love a lot. However if you’re not one who love, you probably started saying to yourself, from the very beginning, this lady sure love herself. Indeed, yes, I do. I have to love myself in order to love you. I must love myself in order to be loved healthily by others. I must love myself first before I can seek love from others as opposed to imposing myself on someone and wish they can convinced me that I can be loved or that I’m pretty if I didn’t think so myself to begin with. I have to love myself and see beauty in myself in order for me to recognize beauty and love in others when it's right in front of me. It’s with self-love that we eventually are able to give love to our kids, our family, our neighbors. It’s also with self-love that we strive to be better. We all have seen or read how lack of love can destroy humanity. Most important, healthy love can make someone’s day a better day and each day you get it, turn to a week then it turns to a month, finally snowballed into many years. Love has saved life, create life. Love is priceless, effortless and contagious. So start loving today, if it is lacking in your life. smile. |
